About
SEO and AI search strategy built around visibility, trust, and long-term growth.
I’m Mitchell Haw, an SEO and organic search consultant based in Bend, Oregon with more than 12 years of experience working across the evolving world of search.
Experience across agencies, in-house teams, and independent consulting
Over the years, I’ve worked in agency environments, in-house marketing teams, through my own agency work, and directly with businesses looking for clearer, more practical search strategy.
My experience spans local SEO, technical SEO, content strategy, site structure, analytics, AI search visibility, and broader organic search growth across platforms like Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and other emerging search experiences.
I’ve worked with local businesses in Bend and Central Oregon as well as larger brands operating across multiple cities, locations, and markets.
Search continues to change quickly, especially with the growth of AI-generated answers and conversational search experiences.
That is part of what keeps this work interesting to me. I enjoy helping businesses adapt, simplify what matters, and build stronger visibility across Google, maps, AI search platforms, and the broader web.
What I focus on
I help businesses improve how they appear when people are actively searching for products, services, information, and local recommendations.
That work can include technical SEO improvements, local SEO, Google Business Profile strategy, content planning, internal linking, site architecture, analytics, traditional SEO, and visibility within AI-powered search experiences like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and AI Overviews.
I prefer a practical approach. Clear recommendations. Strong foundations. Useful content. Better structure. Better visibility. Less noise.
Based in Bend, Oregon
Living in Central Oregon gives me a strong understanding of the local business landscape here, from tourism and hospitality to outdoor brands, local services, real estate, restaurants, wellness companies, and growing small businesses.
I also understand that many businesses do not need overly complicated marketing plans. Often the biggest gains come from improving the basics, building the right pages, strengthening local visibility, and creating a better overall search presence.
